Welcome to York, a city where layers of history sit quietly on top of one another. Walk these streets and you’re following the paths of Vikings, traders, and craftsmen, each shaping the city in ways that still remain if you know where to look. Beneath the busy streets and familiar landmarks, traces of the past are hidden in plain sight, etched into stone, woven into the layout of the city, and waiting to be uncovered.
HOW TO COMPLETE THIS ADVENTURE
1. Head to the starting point.
2. Go to the first clue location.
3. Look around for information to help you solve the clue. The answer will help you eliminate a suspect or an object.
4. Follow the directions to get to the next location, and repeat until you finish and solve the mystery.
5. Submit your photos and answers to us to be in with a chance of winning your next free Adventure Trail!
