You have arrived at this Norman House, which is the Constable's Hall, also known as the Constable's House. It was built around 1160AD for the Lord of the Manor’s Constable or Bailiff. It has a really impressive chimney, which is one of only 5 examples in England.

There are some fun photos you can take of all the different angles and parts of the Norman House.
Try to find 5 different ways to capture this ruin, including the impressive Norman chimney. You could also photograph it from Convent Walk, and get a great image of the castle ruins through the archway.
